Hey everyone, welcome back to the blog. Today we continued writing our short stories and talked to Mr. Rivers about our short stories. We also watched a video on how to make the stories more detailed. The stories are due next Wednesday along with our Sci-Friday which is due at the end of the marking period. As most of us did today, I continued writing my story, which only has two more sub-arcs left.
As I took a closer look at my characters, I noticed that all of the science-fiction television shows, books, and movies have affected my writing. All of my characters have a dark backstory as does CW Arrow's Oliver Queen did. The way my character got their powers is also similar to how Flash got his powers. In my continuation of my short story (which I'm not writing for class), the use of the multiverse theory and the use of the space-time continuum from Flash and Back to the Future respectively can also be seen.
After getting through the first sub-arc, I began to get to a mental roadblock as how get the other arcs into the story. I knew that the story needed to flow into three other Disney parks, the problem was how to do that. By talking to my friends (who I made main characters through there be Earth-1 [this one] and Earth-2 [original setting]) I figured out how I was going to add in the other arcs. Adding in the back stories were also a problem, but nothing a little look into the Green Arrow's past couldn't solve.
